As long as I can remember, I was always known as the “art kid” and wore it proudly, always trying to improve and learn more. When I hit high school in my little redneck town of Elko, NV, I took all the art classes I could, painted murals for the school, and joined art club. At the time, I was convinced that I needed to go to college and get a “real career”. So I packed up and moved to Reno for college, lasted one month studying biology, and dropped out. During this lil gap of mine, I became obsessed with the idea of tattooing and did all the research i could. Learning to value my passion and ignore everyone else’s opinion on it, I finally took the leap and it was the best decision of my life (and a huge middle finger to everyone that said art would get me nowhere).
I started my apprenticeship at 20 years old at Under Your Skin under the mentorship of Ron and continue to work here as an artist while loving every day of it. I couldn’t imagine a better job than coloring people every day, let alone making art that stays a lifetime and helps people whether it be for fun, to look like a badass, or coping through life. Being newer in the game, I love doing all styles as I continue to grow and fine tune my art, but my florals and lettering are especially loved by many. Color, black&grey, fine line, you name it and I’m here for it! (I’ve also been told I have a light hand many times so you’re welcome!) I love getting to do new projects and bring your ideas to life everyday! One never knows what to expect in tattooing, but I’ve yet to be disappointed. So let’s keep this ink slinging and stories goin!
